SEND US A POSTCARD!

The North Wessex Downs Landscape Trust is compiling a directory of "Postcards" to help both visitors and locals to explore some of the glorious and interesting places across the Downs.  While we all know where the White Horses and the other "Icons" of the North Wessex Downs can be found, there's so much more to the area than these so we're particularly keen to find hidden gems off the beaten track!

Like their physical counterparts, each of our virtual Postcards features a beautiful image on one side, but on the other we add our own message and 'addresses' (e-links) to other places to visit in the vicinity - landmarks, walks, farm shops, pubs and cafes, and so on - to encourage people to explore the area and support local businesses.

So if you know of a fabulous viewpoint, a quirky bit of heritage, a fascinating historical site, or a little-known story about somewhere in your local parish, town, or further afield, please do let us know and we'll put it on the map. 

The only proviso is that we also need a stunning image to illustrate the location.  Don't worry if you don't have one though, send us what you've got and we'll get a photographer out to take another if your site fits the bill!
